Waking up on a beautiful foggy morning on the Clinton River, beats waking up just about anywhere else. There is something magical about the fog and the water. To feel the gentle rocking of the boat as I sleep is so soothing.

Looking forward to a great summer of sailing!

She fought valiantly against horrible odds with her past illnesses, but the broken blood vessels in her brain proved fatal.

Even though she was confined to a wheel chair for the last several years, she wanted, and did, come to my wedding in July of 2007. I was very honored to have her and her family with us on one of the happiest days of my life.
She will be missed by us all.

In Memory of:
Sara (Sarina) Mazzullo in Giummi
12-19-1940 to 05-11-10

Those are my perfect spine MRI’s used as the background for this image.

Three Monday’s ago my editor, Chuck, called and needed a cover for his magazine by Friday. He gave me the concept, and I set about acquiring all the props. Thanks to fellow sailor and doctor Katherine for the black bag, and everything else I had laying around.

In this day and age, my main goal is to save my clients as much as I can, so with the help of family and friends I did it!
Thanks!

Here she is high above me traveling over a parking lot and many other boats.

It’s always a sad sight seeing a boat on the hard, which means that winter is on it’s way .... but every day that goes by means another day closer to when she’ll be back in the water and we’ll be sailing........

After taking photos all evening I was able to savor food from fabulous celebrity chefs Traci Des Jardins, Mary Sue Milliken, Marc Vetri and Takashi Yagihashi.

Roast, located in the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit, is worth the trip.
